  • IAG Firms A350 options for Iberia

IAG (International Airlines Group), The company in charged of both British Airways and Iberia Airlines of Spain has officially converted 8 Airbus A350-900XWB options it had into orders.
The airline group has also order 8 Airbus A330-200 aircraft’s all 16 aircraft are going to Iberia Airlines of Spain to replace Iberia currently long haul feet of Airbus A340-600, and to be delivered from 2015-2020.
IAG fleet of Airbus A350XWB are to be powered by Rolls Royce Trent XWB Engine; while IAG has get to confirm the A330 engine choice; Iberia current fleet of A330 are being powered by General Electric Engines. .

  • ANA Orders A320neo 

Airbus also won another other today, this time its from Japan for the very popular Airbus A 320neo family. ANA – All Nippon Airlines of Japan, has firm up orders for 30 A320neo Family aircraft split between 7 A320neo and 23 A321neo. Making ANA the first Japanese customer for the A320neo family. The initial agreement was announced in March 2014.
The aircraft will be part of ANA Holdings fleet development and modernization strategy to replace its existing single-aisle fleet in the coming years.Deliveries will start from 2016. ANA currently operated a fleet of 14 Airbus A320ceo. 

  • DELTA Begins Operation Send down 747

Detla Airlines has officially retired 4 747 aircraft.

New York-Tokyo and New York-Tel Aviv will go from a 747 to a 777.

Delta is redeploying 777s and 767-300s from the Atlantic to the Pacific division due to reductions in capacity in the Atlantic.
Delta is expects to receive 10 A330-300s starting in 2015, to help with the less capacity on the Atlantic routes.
