Volvo has been improving over the years both in design; safety and consumer brand appealed; Their safety technology has changed the way we all look at auto safety technology and even though Volvo has lost most of its US customers, they are expanding in Europe and China, November 2013 Sales were up 5% in those two country. Volvo is on a mission and looking to win back US base customers and even more customers around the world with a new design language, which was first introduced on the Volvo Concept Coupe that debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show last September. Now Volvo is adding another concept to it’s line up. The Volvo XC Concept, which is set to make it’s worldwide debut at next month North American International Auto Show.

It also showed one interpretation of how the proportions and versatility of Volvo Cars’ new Scalable Product Architecture, that will underpin all medium and large cars in the company’s future, could look.
The Concept Coupé was the first of three design studies. The next chapter in Volvo Cars’ new design story showcases how the company’s famous safety technology as well as a contemporary Scandinavian active lifestyle could be integrated into the new architecture. The Volvo Concept XC Coupé will make its world debut at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) on January 13, but full details including press release, videos and images will be published on January 8.
